Glass and Ceramics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Solid-phase synthesis of gadolinium titanate, stannate, and zirconate was investigated. It was shown that these compounds can be obtained at 700°C. A ceramic based on Gd2Zr2O7, Gd2Ti2O7, and Gd2Sn2O7 was obtained. It was shown that partial substitution of Zr, Ti, and Sn(IV) for each other allows reducing the sintering temperature.
