It is found that in the production of a composite sorbent an acid–base interaction is observed between the Br?nsted centers on the surface of kaolinite and dolomite particles. During simultaneous dispersion the crystal structure of kaolinite is destroyed, which intensifies the interaction between the surface centers. It is shown that kaolinite plays a decisive role in the formation of the porous structure of granules and dolomite determines the strength of the articles produced.
