Abstract
We study the geometrothermodynamics of a special asymptotically AdS black hole, i.e. Van der Waals \(\left( VdW\right) \) black hole, in the extended phase space where the negative cosmological constant \(\Lambda \) can be regarded as thermodynamic pressure. Analysing some special conditions of this black hole with geometrothermodynamical method, we find a good correlation with ordinary cases according to the state equation.
