The physical interpretation of the affine connection in the quantum phase space (QPS) CP (N - 1) has been considered. This takes the place of the gauge state-dependent field supplying the backreaction in the self-consistent N-level system modeling an elementary particle. Due to the fundamental character of the theory all local dynamical variables (including Hamiltonian) are proportional to differentiation operators and, hence, are represented as the tangent vectors to the QPS. The equations of the self-interacting “color charges” and “gluon” fields have been obtained from the requirement of the parallel transport of the local Hamiltonian.
