The thermoelectric sensitivity of thermocouples based on carbon fibers (CF) from polyoxadiazole (POD), hydrated cellulose (HC), and polyacrylonitrile (PAN) is studied. Methods are proposed for making thermocouples by bonding POD polymer fibers with various materials or by tying knots followed by carbonization. It is shown that the following thermocouples have the maximum sensitivity: CF from HC and CF from POD bonded with PAN carbon materials (CM) have a sensitivity of 4.27μV/°C; CF from POD and CF from POD with threads in the thermocouple in a direction opposite to the direction of spinning of the original threads and bonded with CM from PAN have a sensitivity of 2.97 μV/°C.
