Non-Uniformity in the Composition of a Mixed Two-Component Fibrous Flow

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

An analysis of the dependence of the fibrous flows non-uniformity in terms of the components fractional composition on the component flows non-uniformity in terms of linear density has been performed. Analytical methods for low levels of non-uniformity and the method of computer statistical simulation in a wide range of components fractions and their non-uniformity in terms of linear density have been used. It has been established that approximate analytical dependences are suitable for obtaining assessments with an error not exceeding 10% at coefficients of components linear density variation up to 25% and for typical correlation types in component flows and the mixed flow.
