The effect of static and dynamic high-temperature exposure on thermal aging of Twaron VGA-220 fabric is investigated. High heat resistance and possibility of prolonged safe use of Twaron VGA-220 fabric in the 200-300°C range and briefly at 350°C are established. A polynomial relationship of Twaron fabric breaking load with temperature exposure for 100 h was obtained. The relationship enables prediction of thermal aging of fabrics from Twaron yarns of a different structure and surface density.
