The results of a study of dependence of elongation resistance of complex yarns on the same characteristics of filaments with reference to Orlon fibre are presented. The computer model developed for these purposes takes account of nonlinear type of elastic deformation of filaments, dynamics of deformation and breaking, and statistical scatter of breaking characteristics.
