This article examines a model of a combination filament formed by a rod-shaped filament of Rusar-C and Arselon yarn that is twisted around the filament in two opposite directions. The authors argue the importance of calculating the linear density of the twisted combination filament and propose a formula for this purpose. The calculated values of linear density agree well with the data obtained from experiments.
