Modification of Polyethyleneterephthalate with 1,1,5-Trihydroperfluoropentanol-1

The surface of polyester threads was modified with 1,1,5-trihydroperfluoropentanol-1. It was shown that addition of the modifier helped to increase the crystallite size and decrease thread surface defects, which was responsible for the higher strength properties of the produced materials.
