Effect of the drafting force on the strength of the bottom of the spinneret

Abstract

In spinning basalt fibres, the drafting force is in the same range as in spinning of glass fibres. The effect of the drafting force can not be considered in the calculation for the strength and rigidity of the bottom of the spinneret.
