Polyester filter fabrics and their properties

Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

Using the Setka 3.2 program, optimized structures for filter fabrics of linen, twill, and satin weaves with a surface density of 400 to 760 g/m2 were developed. Technology was developed and filter fabrics with assigned structural parameters were made from polyester-fibre yarns. The mechanical properties and air permeability of the fabrics were investigated.
