Copper-Containing Complexes — Effective Quality Stabilizers for Caprolactam

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

It was found that the copper-containing additive 2-MeBI + CuCl2 + MgCl2 stabilizes the quality of caprolactam most effectively when it is transported in the molten state. A probable mechanism of formation of a complex of the additive with caprolactam is proposed.
