  1. As this symposium is my last task as an editor at ETMP, allow me to say goodbye after seven great years and wish best of luck to the new team.

  2. Do note that ‘omitting to φ’ and ‘not φ-ing’ are not identical, so that the ‘old racism’ view might be more substantial than you thought, because it requires some minimum of awareness or intentionality.

  3. Obviously ‘old racism’ could itself be further analysed into an act-based view and a different attitude-based view, but that’s beyond the scope here.

  4. Here again remember the difference between ‘not φ-ing’ and ‘omitting to φ’.
