Abstract
Some general results are obtained about pairs of CCZ-equivalent plateaued APN functions, exploiting character theory of finite groups. It is proven that if a plateaued power APN function f over \({\mathbb {F}}_{2^{2m}}\) is CCZ-equivalent to a plateaued function g, then f and g are EA-equivalent.
