Kelly E. Hathorn, MD, is a third-year gastroenterology and bariatric endoscopy fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She completed her MD at Duke University and completed her internal medicine residency training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She will be moving back to North Carolina in July 2020 to complete her training as the Advanced Endoscopy Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Throughout her fellowship, she has participated in research in the field of interventional and bariatric endoscopy and is looking forward to continuing this in the future. She also has an interest in medical education and loves spending time teaching and learning alongside medical students, residents, and co-trainees, and hopes to further cultivate these skills as an advanced endoscopy fellow and young attending.
