Moral Residue: Difficult Ethical Choices in the Treatment of Refractory Anorexia Nervosa

Abstract

The case of a 30-year-old woman with treatment refractory anorexia is presented through a first person narrative and countertransference experience. The case study attempts to explore how ethical treatment decisions are made, while also addressing how we live with those choices.
