A New 1,6-Seco-Norisoprenoid from the Leaves and Twigs of Croton yanhuii

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

A new 1,6-seco-norisoprenoid, named croyanhuin G (1), together with ten known norisoprenoids (2–11), was isolated from the leaves and twigs of Croton yanhuii Y. T. Chang (Euphorbiaceae). The structure of this new compound was characterized and identified by HR-ESI-MS, IR, and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. Compound 1 was evaluated for its cytotoxic activity against HeLa cell line.
