A new lindenane sesquiterpenoid, chlohenriol D (1), along with five known compounds (2–6) was obtained from the roots of Chloranthus henryi. Structural elucidation for the new compound was characterized by spectroscopic analysis. Compound 1 was further tested for its neuroprotective effects on H2O2-damaged PC12 cells.
