New Phytoecdysteroid from Silene popovii

The new natural phytoecdysteroid 20-hydroxyecdysone 25-O-benzoate (1) was isolated from the aerial parts of Silene popovii. The structure of the new compound was elucidated using 1D and 2D NMR and HPTLC-MS analyses.
