Chrysoride A (1), a new natural product belonging to the family of drimane sesquiterpene esters, was isolated from a marine-derived fungus Penicillium chrysogenum LD-201810. Its structure was established by detailed interpretation of 1D (1H and 13C) NMR, 2D (1H–1H COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and NOESY) NMR, and HR-ESI-MS data. Chrysoride A (1) exhibited moderate cytotoxicity against HepG2 and HeLa cancer cell lines with IC50 values of 28.9 and 35.6 μM, respectively.
