The chemical composition of fatty acids in lipids from Plantago ovata Forssk. seeds was studied. The yield of lipids was 6.12%. The lipids consisted mainly of linoleic (41.20%) and 9-octadecenoic acid (26.56%). The antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of the obtained lipids were assessed for the first time.
