A New Diester from the Flowers of Michelia fuscata

Fuscatin A (1), liriodenine, (–)-anonaine, N-methylcorydaldine, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, vanillic acid, isovanillin, β-sitosterol, stigmasterol, 11,13-dehydrolanuginolide, and costunolide were isolated from the flowers of Michelia fuscata (Magnoliaceae). Among them, fuscatin A is a new diester. The structures of these compounds were characterized and identified by spectral analyses.
