A New Sesquiterpene from Stereum sp. YMF1.04734

The chemical constituent of the fungus Stereum sp. YMF1.04734 was studied. A new sesquiterpene sterostrein V (1) and a known sesquiterpene sterostrein H (2) were isolated from the EtOAc extract of the fungal culture broth. The structure of the compound was elucidated mainly by HR-ESI-MS experiment and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy analysis.
