Synthesis of Isoflavone-Anabasine Conjugates

Possible Mannich aminomethylation of isoflavone chromone rings was studied using the alkaloid anabasine. Anabasine-isoflavone conjugates in which the benzopyrone core was connected to anabasine through a methylene linker were synthesized.
