Glycoside Flavonoids from Dracocephalum komarovii

Previously, β-sitosterol, β-stigmasterol, diosmetin, chrysoeriol, cirsilineol, kaempferol 3-methyl ether, and luteolin-7-O-β-methylglucuronide were isolated and identified by us from the aerial part of Dracocephalum komarovii Lipsky (Lamiaceae) collected in Tashkent Oblast (Uzbekistan) [1].

In continuation of research on the chemical composition of the aerial part of D. komarovii [1], we chromatographed the alcohol extract over a column of silica gel (200–300 mesh, 250 g) with gradient elution by CHCl3–MeOH mixtures (9:1–1:1) to isolate five flavonoid glycosides. Each isolated compound was also rechromatographed over a column of Sephadex LH-20 with elution by MeOH–H2O (2:1) to afford five compounds 1 (11 mg), 2 (118 mg), 3 (4 mg), 4 (2.78 mg), and 5 (16 mg) that were identified as apigenin-7-O-glucoside (1) [2], luteolin-7-O-glucoside (2) [3], acacetin-7-O-glucoside (3) [4], luteolin-7-O-glucuronide (4) [3], and acacetin-7-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)]-β-D-glucopyranoside (5) [4].
