Isolation and Identification of Radical Scavenging Components of Seeds of Desmodium styracifolium

In order to promote comprehensive utilization of Desmodium styracifolium resources, bioassay-guided fractionation and a chemical investigation of D. styracifolium seeds, were conducted, which resulted in the isolation of a new flavonol acylglycoside (1) together with eight known compounds (2–9). Their structures were identified by spectroscopic techniques (1D/2D NMR and MS). All the compounds were isolated for the first time from the genus Desmodium except for 3 and 8.
