Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds Aims and scope

Microreview focuses on the main modern synthetic approaches toward 2-azaanthracene and its derivatives. These approaches are: inverse electron-demand aza-Diels–Alder reactions, cross coupling, cyclization reactions. These modern methods are more environmentally friendly and cost- and/or atomefficient compared to the earlier reported approaches.
