Abstract
Special hardware processors intended for multiparameter analysis and event selection in high energy experiments are described. The input signals corresponding to the parameters under analysis are transformed into the digital form by fast analog to digital converters. These codes enter the RAM-based processing unit, where the look-up tables are used to make a decision. An analysis time of about 50–100 ns is comparable to the decision time of a conventional first level trigger.
