Abstract
The main goal of the paper was to study characteristic features of the fusion-produced neutrons emitted from Plasma-Focus (PF) discharges within the PF-1000 facility operated in the IPPLM in Warsaw. Neutron emission properties have been studied in this paper using a comprehensive range of neutron diagnostics, including calibrated activation counters placed at different angles and neutron time of flight measurements performed by scintillation probes placed at different distances from the plasma column. The highest neutron yield registered so far has been 3.5 × 1011 per shot.
