Abstract

In this review, we show that the measurement of asymmetry in polarized electron-nucleon scattering provides information about the quark structure of the nucleons. The formalism of parity-violating electron-nucleon scattering with the theoretical assumptions is presented. An experimental overview of specific experiments with recent results as well as upcoming experiments is discussed.
