2D quantum spin models and Jordan-Wigner fermions

Abstract

We apply the 2D Jordan-Wigner fermionization to examine the ground state and thermodynamic properties of the square-lattice s=1/2 anisotropic XY model. We compare our findings with the results of different analytical and numerical approaches.
