Abstract

Preliminary results of the exclusive study of p(α, α′)X reaction at the α-particle momentum 7 GeV/c are presented. The missing mass spectra show fast change of the reaction mechanism in the range of the momenta of the scattered α-particle between 6.12 and 6.70 GeV/c. The mechanism of the Δ-resonance excitation in the projectile is confirmed.
