Scattering of a compressed stratified concentrated mixture

Combustion, Explosion and Shock Waves Aims and scope

Abstract

A mathematical model with allowance for phase compressibility is proposed to solve the problem of scattering of a stratified two-phase mixture. The wave structure of the flow is determined. The mathematical model is verified by the dependences of pressure at the shock-wave front and behind the compression wave and by the dependence of the delay on the spatial variable.
