Combustion, Explosion and Shock Waves Aims and scope

Abstract

The pore formation process and the phase composition of the products of combustion of the Ti—Si—Al—C system were studied. The structure of Ti5(Si,Al)3C0.6 single crystals formed in small amounts was determined. The dependences of the burning rate and elongation of the samples on their density and the gas pressure were determined.
