Abstract

Two novel catalysts of nano-hybridized Ni–Mo over Al2O3/TiO2 and Al2O3/ZrO2 were synthesized through a newly designed procedure by using ultrasonic irradiation and characterized by X-ray diffraction, UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectra, FT-IR, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Then, the catalytic activities of these catalysts were examined in the oxidation of toluene by Oin various conditions of pressure, time and temperature. The products were analyzed by GC and GC–MS.
