Abstract

The dichlorobis (tridecylamine) palladium(II) complex, pure and supported on γ-Al2O3, was used as catalyst for the semi-hydrogenation of 3-hexyne. The complex was characterized by centesimal composition, XPS and IR. The influence of the temperature was studied. The supported Pd complex resulted an active and stereo selective system for the production of (Z)-3-hexene.
