Simulating optimal structure of the magnetic field of electrostatic plasma lens

  • Published:
Cybernetics and Systems Analysis Aims and scope

Abstract

The paper considers the motion of electrons in the curvilinear magnetic field of a plasma lens. This motion is modeled mathematically on the assumption that the force acting on the electron is central in a moving coordinate frame. The existence conditions for optimal and stable equipotentials are studied.
