The analysis of the designs of electrochemical membrane apparatuses showed that a roll-type apparatus is promising, providing a large area of electrochemical membrane separation of the solution at a minimum area within the facility. A method for calculating a roll-type apparatus is proposed, which allows its design parameters (volume and mass of elements) to be determined.
