Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

Mathematical modeling of a film fluid flow on a perforated cylindrical surface simulating a channel of a regularly structured packing has been performed. The hydrodynamics of the fluid film is studied and the hydrodynamic parameters under the action of a swirling gas flow are calculated. The influence of perforation on the change in the degree of film flow turbulence is described.
