The article proposes a method for calculating the strength of traveling and fixed supports of industrial pipelines using the finite element method. Recommendations are given for modeling the structural elements interacting with the support, as well as selecting the design scheme and assessing kinematic and force boundary conditions. The obtained results can be used for selecting standard sizes of supports in the design of pipelines.
