Operational Control Method for Managing Homogeneity of Multicomponent Mixtures Based on Optoleptic Photosensitive Scanning of their Surface during Mixing

  • Published:
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

To control and manage the degree of homogeneity of the mixture, an optoleptic method of photosensitive scanning of the mixture surface has been developed, which makes it possible to efficiently control and manage the homogenization of the mixture during its production. To improve the accuracy of the method in order to increase the contrast during photosensitive scanning of the surface, it is proposed to introduce a lumogen indicator into the mixture. An example of the application of the proposed method in the production of magnesial cement blends for the preparation of solutions for cementing casing strings of oil and gas wells is considered.
