The device, the operation principle, and the results of tests of a drum crystallizer with refrigerant heat accumulation are presented. The energy accumulation effect is achieved by a special polymetallic insert in a rotating drum. The metals and alloys for the polymetallic insert are chosen. A special gland seal of the drum shaft that reduces refrigerant loss is developed and approved.
