A new compact coil is proposed for enhancement of weight and size characteristics of oil and water/oilemulsion heaters. Calculations show that the proposed coil ensures operation with no active deposition of solid carbon phases on the internal wall surface of tubes carrying the products at combustion-impingement temperatures of up to 1700 °C.
