The influence of moistness of the working fluid on the delivery coefficient of a reciprocating compressor is studied. It is shown that the delivery coefficient decreases by 30–40% with increase of moistness because of decrease in adiabatic index and increase in coefficient of heat transfer from the walls and intake pressure loss.
