Problems associated with evaluation of regime operating parameters of production equipment in implementing different methods of thermal-shaping of articles from polymer materials are examined. It is indicated that manifestation of typical defects in the form of fracturing of blanks during their shaping, and the warping of the in-service articles is dictated by rapid deformations of the blanks when articles are being shaped from them. The condition under which these defects virtually never appear is formulated.
