Study of Leak-Tightness of Plane–Plane Sealing Joints with Ion-Plasma Coatings

A technology of applying ion-plasma coatings on detachable joints of chemical and petroleum engineering equipment is described. The investigation results show that the leak-tightness of detachable joints can be increased by applying ion-plasma coatings.
