It is based on the use of the Hammett acidity function and light transparency coefficient of sulfuric acid production medium in designating resin for acid-resistant fiberglass objects, molded in an assembly area. It is shown that monitoring corrosiveness (protolytic activity) of a production medium may be carried out colorimetrically using normal plant laboratory equipment.
