The motion of a milling body when separated from the wall of the milling chamber is analyzed. Analytical relationships are derived for analysis of its drop height and time, as well as the coordinates at the moment of separation from the internal surface of the drum and its impingement with the latter. The effect of geometric and production factors on the values of the parameters employed is established.
