Calculation of parameters of oil products desulfurization process under ultrasound action

  • Published:
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

The experimental data on sonocatalytic oxidative desulfurization of oil and oil products are processed in keeping with the similarity theory in a criterial form. The variation in the values of the chosen criteria with experimental conditions that vary with time is calculated to assess the significance of the set of similarity criteria. A criterial relationship has been established on the basis of selection of significant similarity criteria, and it is shown that the calculated values of the process efficiency agree well with the experimental data.
